The Photographer
Andrew’s photography has been featured on the front cover of ‘The Photographer’, the monthly magazine of the British Institute of Professional Photography along with a six-page portfolio spread inside. He will also be interviewed about his career for the BIPP website. See pages 1 & 2 of the showcase.

Investing in the Future
A further investment has been made to purchase the latest Hasselblad H3 with a 39 mega pixel back producing a file size of 112mb. This will enhance the quality and tonal range for very large formats.

New Clients in 2008
Product photography for the Bosch Design Team and location portraits for the American payroll giants ADP has enhanced Andrew’s client base. See client list.

French Connection
Andrew has just completed a 6 day shoot for the ethical French pharmaceutical company, Servier. Shooting their high tech R&D facilities, product range and staff for their new look website and other promotional material. Servier were delighted with the smooth running of the shoot and the quality and creativity of the end result.

Don't Look Back In...

Junction 9
Design agency Junction 9 commissioned Andrew to produce a set of abstracts to illustrate their clients Bladerunner star theme.

People Power
Andrew has photographed a number of personel on location for his client NPL, illustrating their particular science for PR and editoral use.

Top Sales
July saw Andrews highest ever picture library sale to Glencoe in the USA. This followed a significant sale in May of fibre optics to a French technology company.

UK Research
Diamond Light Source, one of the UK's largest research projects has commissioned a set of abstracts to illustrate the potential market sectors for their synchrotron. Andrew has been on site several times over the last few years, to photograph its development and other PR events. This follows on from a similar commission 2 years ago with images appearing in company literature, posters and on their website.

Double Cheese Burger
Two new American technology companies, Biofisica and A-Metrics, commission Andrew to undertake photography for their corporate literature and internet sites in 2006.

Four Corners of the World
Andrew's images appeared in editorial and advertising campaigns in over 30 countries during 2006, with sales in as far flung places as Peru, China, Australia and Russia. Credits included book, magazine and national newspaper front covers.

Wallpaper for the Home
Three of Andrew's abstract images of business and science concepts have been chosen to provide the "visual wallpaper" in the reception of the Home Office in London.

Client Satisfaction
Andrew has just been commissioned by NPL to provide images for their Annual Report - for the 12th consecutive year! At their base in Teddington, his work is also being used to provide a permanent display in the foyer whilst a selection of portraits are being exhibited in the main auditorium. The portraiture of NPL fellows were all shot on location illustrating their particular sciences.

For He's a Jolly Good Fellow
Andrew is currently working on a selection of images, which will be submitted to the British Institute of Professional Photographers with the aim of being awarded a fellowship. This is the highest level of qualification attainable within the Institute and recognises distinguished individual ability and exceptional standards of excellence.

Worldwide Editorial Sales Grow
Sales of Andrew's images marketed via Corbis & SPL have increased during the last 6 months. Clients from USA, Japan, Germany and Italy in particular have shown strong demand. Publications have included Nature, Sunday Times, Le Scienze, Panorama and The Economist.

Book Release
The Federation of European Photographers is to publish a book featuring Andrew's work. The book will be launched at Photokina in September and will be distributed to buyers of photography around Europe in 2005.QEP of the Year Nomination 2004
Andrew has been nominated for this prestigious award and has been invited to attend the prize giving ceremony in Orvieto, Italy.

Andrew Goes Digital
Andrew has made a substantial investment by purchasing the latest Hasselblad H1 camera with Imacom digital back, providing the capacity to produce high end digital photography. Combined with an Apple G4 Powerbook laptop, Clients will now be able to view images live on screen during a shoot, providing the opportunity for greater input into the final image. Turnaround times will also be greatly reduced.

Photographic Initiative
Andrew is looking for collaborative projects with organisations in the science, medicine and technology sectors. In return for producing images which meet your needs, Andrew would also create some generic images for possible picture library use. Please call Andrew on 07831 814643 to discuss ideas.

Art of Science Photographic Awards 2003
Andrew has gained 2 Silver Awards in the latest British Institute of Professional Photographers competition.

Qualified European Photographer
Andrew has joined a very elite group by becoming a Qualified European Photographer (QEP). Judging took place in Orvieto, Italy, at the Professional Photographers International convention, where Andrew's work was presented to six judges from around Europe. The judges were unanimous in recognising the quality of his work. Andrew is one of only four photographers from the UK to gain the award this year. To date there are only 87 in the whole of Europe with this qualification. A selection of the images that he submitted are to be shown at a major international conference and exhibition in Cologne later this year.

Seminars
Andrew will be presenting his experience of shooting stock images for Picture Libraries together with a selection of his current work, to his colleagues of the British Institute of Professional Photographers at a forthcoming event. This will be followed by an interview, which will be published in the September issue of the Photographer Magazine, along with some samples of his work.

BIPP Top 100 Print Competition
Andrew's work has recently been awarded prizes in this competition and thus will be included in the selection of images, which will be exhibited around the country.
